What the games on GrindIndex are, how they differ, and what to check before you put time into one.

• What is a scapelike?

A scapelike is an original game built on what RuneScape does: many skills levelled by use, gathering that feeds crafting, and a shared world. How they differ from private servers and idle MMOs.

• What is an RSPS?

An RSPS is a RuneScape private server: a copy of the game run by someone other than Jagex. Revisions, server types, and how to tell a server worth trying from one that will vanish.

• What is an idle MMO?

An idle MMO is a game that progresses while you are away and puts you in a world with other players: a market, guilds, chat and leaderboards. What to look for before you start one.
